Aside from having fun with crazy videos, last week’s Pastor’s Gathering was a useful time for the development of my ministry. The district brought in Mark Wilson, pastor of Hayward Wesleyan Church in Wisconsin. Mark brought some great thoughts about the roll of the pastor - as a leader in discipleship, a developer in relationships and implementer of good leadership.
The story of Hayward Wesleyan is a resounding success among the many “not so great” stories we hear about churches. I would love to be able to visit sometime - after hearing him speak, I already feel like I know some of the people!
